In August, Square Enix game developers announced that they would be launching another Final Fantasy mobile game later in 2017. The game is named: Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, this game will be available on Android and iOS mobile platforms.
Good news for Final Fantasy game fans using Android devices, as this week is pre-registration for Android users on the Google Play Store. There does not seem to be any free stuff provided by the developers to those who signed up at the start of the launch, but at least they will be notified when the new game is released.
A list that’s on Google Play reveals some details about game specification requirements. So you need a Lollipop 5.0 or higher Android device and 2GB of RAM or more. In addition, the device must be powered by 1.5GHz processor or better, as well as 5GB internal memory (high resolution version of this game requires minimum storage of 8GB).
Things to note, that Square Enix also mentions there are some devices that may not be supported, even though the version of Android OS installed is within the supported range. Unfortunately, it is still unknown when exactly Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition will be launched, but because it is already registered in the Google Play Store, it should not be too long from now.
